This is our largest gite. French doors lead from a front garden, with barbecue and garden furniture, into a charming large and new fully-fitted kitchen and dining area. This spacious area, complete with wood-burning stove and dining table for ten, benefits from a mezzanine lounge over the kitchen allowing the beautiful Charentaise stonewalls in the dining area to stretch all the way to the roof timbers.

From this area a second door opens onto a large, private rear garden with hollyhocks and views of open farmland. This garden, equipped with tables, chairs and sun parasol, welcomes the morning sun and is ideal for a leisurely breakfast or lunch.

A tiled staircase leads from the first floor to a large, attractive mezzanine lounge. The comfortable sofa, chairs, laden bookcase, TV, DVD player and reading/music corner offer entertainment options for all the family. French doors open onto a small balcony, overlooking the garden and pool, perfect for watching the sunset with a glass of wine.

From the lounge a long corridor leads to three large bedrooms and the main bathroom with bath and shower. All the bedrooms have large windows with views over the central garden and pool. The first room is a double bedroom with king size bed and wardrobe. The second is a large triple bedroom with three single beds. At the end of the corridor is another double bedroom, with oak suite and small ensuite shower and toilet, followed by the family bathroom.

This gîte is centrally heated and complete with woodburner it is particularly popular for winter lets, including Christmas and New Year, long-term lets and off-season holidays.
